Alexandra Patsavas. You may not immediately recall the name, but you know The OC, Twilight, Grey's Anatomy, Mad Men and Gossip Girl, right? Well, Patsavas has programmed music for all of those franchises, and is often billed as this era's most innovative music programmer for film and television. Really, the soundtracks from these projects outsell most major albums.
One thing we've always loved about her work is how she injects a dose of indie into projects that would usually be left sterile and mainstream.
