DJ88 (née Bree Cohen) – a Los Angeles native/Las Vegas transplant – has been DJing for nearly eight years.
Recently featured in 944 Magazines Music Issue (April 2011), Bree has built quite a resume boasting residencies at some of the hottest venues in Vegas, and opening for a stellar list of artists including The Roots, De La Soul, Snoop Dog, She Wants Revenge, Damian Marley, and Sean Paul. Best known for her remarkable versatility, DJ88 gracefully orchestrates the foxiest sets of music at special events for A-listers such as Alexander McQueen, The New Yorker Magazine, Porsche, John Varvatos, Miami Fashion Week, Vdara Hotel, Palms Casino Resort, Palms Place Hotel & Spa, W Hotels, The Setai, 944 Magazine, Moët & Chandon, Red Bull and Tequila Patrón.
DJ88 is currently a resident at Marquee at The Comospolitan in Las Vegas and past residencies include The Palms Casino Resort Casino in Las Vegas in which she was responsible for the music format for one of their most successful nights, “Snitch” at Ghostbar. As the original resident DJ she introduced a completely different kind of party to Las Vegas which became the first of its kind for a casino property to embrace, delivering a music format which she describes as “electro soul classic hip hop future disco dopeness”. Adding to her resume, she was the resident DJ for the Hard Rock Hotel’s “Friday Nite Live” concert series for four years and guest residencies include hotels such as Wynn Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, and Palms Place.
